As a Senior PHP Developer, you will leverage your extensive programming knowledge to design, develop, and maintain high-quality web applications. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will take part in creating innovative solutions that enhance the functionality and efficiency of our AI-driven platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain complex, scalable PHP applications and solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement innovative solutions across the AI technology stack.
- Perform code reviews and implement best practices to ensure high standard code quality.
- Analyze and enhance performance metrics to ensure robust and efficient application operations.
- Troubleshoot, test, and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality.
- Integrate third-party APIs and work closely with frontend developers to harmonize all application components.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to implement strategic improvements.
- Lead and mentor junior developers, fostering an environment of growth and learning.
- Prepare and deliver technical documentation as needed for project stakeholders.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a PHP Developer, including expertise with PHP web frameworks.
- Strong proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Excellent understanding of relational databases, specifically MySQL.
- Experience with version control systems, primarily Git.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Embody best practices in software development methodologies.
- Full working rights to work in Australia.
Nice to Have
- Experience with cloud services such as AWS or Azure for deploying applications.
- Familiarity with AI tools or frameworks that integrate with PHP applications.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Prior experience working on projects with large-scale data systems.
- Understanding of API development and Web Services (REST/SOAP).
