About the Role

Join NASMAK Technologies Pty Ltd as a UX UI Architect & Designer, leading the digital transformation initiatives in our Data & AI division. Located in Wollongong, New South Wales, you will have the opportunity to shape the user experience and interface design that drives impactful and scalable AI solutions. As a senior professional in a full-time, on-site role, you will play a critical role in conceptualizing and executing user-centric designs that empower our clients through intelligent AI transformation.

We are seeking a passionate and creative UX UI Architect & Designer who can lead with vision and collaborate effectively to deliver exceptional design excellence in the realm of AI.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and architecture of user experience and user interface for AI-driven projects and team.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and evaluate user requirements, in collaboration with product managers and engineers.
• Develop wireframes, prototypes, and design specifications that align with business and user needs.
• Ensure design consistency, scalability, and alignment with NASMAK Technologies' branding and product vision.
• Conduct usability testing and integrate user feedback to refine and enhance the overall user experience.
• Stay current on industry trends and emerging technologies in UI/UX design and AI applications.
• Mentor and guide junior designers, sharing best practices and driving high-quality design outputs.
• Participate in client workshops and presentations, effectively communicating design concepts and solutions.
• Advocate for user-centric design approaches across all stages of product development.
• Oversee the implementation of designed elements, ensuring alignment with technical specifications and quality standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a UX and UI designer with a strong portfolio showcasing expertise in both areas.
• Extensive knowledge of UX research methodologies and UI development frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, or similar tools.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies and a good understanding of data-driven design principles.
• Strong communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Australian citizenship or permanent residency status.

Nice to Have

• Experience in the Data & AI field or related technologies.
• Previous work in a similar capacity within a tech-driven company.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards and practices.
• Advanced degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field.
• Proficiency in coding languages relevant to UI/UX design.
