We're looking for a Senior Graphic & Instructional Designer to lead the creation of interactive eLearning experiences that look excellent and genuinely teach. You'll combine strong visual design skills with sound instructional design principles. Your core tools will be Articulate Storyline 360 and the Adobe Creative Suite, which you'll use to build engaging, accessible and measurable learning content. Typical projects include software onboarding modules for a new client platform, product training for a digital transformation rollout, and visual learning assets for our own AI-driven products.

This is a full-time, hybrid role based in Sydney, New South Wales. You'll split your time between our office and home, and work closely with UX/UI designers, developers, subject matter experts and client stakeholders. As a senior member of the team, you'll own projects from concept to delivery, set quality standards for learning design, and help shape how NASMAK delivers learning solutions to its clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop interactive eLearning modules in Articulate Storyline 360, including branching scenarios, simulations, quizzes, triggers, variables and custom interactions.
• Create high-quality visual assets with the Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects and Premiere Pro), including illustrations, infographics, UI mock-ups, motion graphics and short-form video.
• Apply instructional design models such as ADDIE, SAM and Bloom's Taxonomy. Use them to analyse learning needs, define objectives, and structure content that is engaging and outcome-focused.
• Work with subject matter experts, product teams and clients to turn complex technical or software-related information into clear, learner-friendly content.
• Produce storyboards, scripts, design documents and prototypes, and present them to internal and client stakeholders for review and sign-off.
• Make sure all learning content meets accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1) and follows client brand guidelines and NASMAK's design standards.
• Publish and test courses for LMS deployment in SCORM and xAPI formats, and troubleshoot technical issues across devices and browsers.
• Manage several projects at once, estimating effort, meeting deadlines and keeping stakeholders informed of progress.
• Mentor junior designers and give constructive feedback on visual and instructional quality.
• Gather learner feedback and analytics to keep improving course effectiveness and engagement.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in graphic design, instructional design or eLearning development, with at least some of that time in a senior or lead capacity.
• Proven, hands-on experience with Articulate Storyline 360, including advanced features such as variables, triggers, states, layers and custom interactions.
• Strong proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign, with working knowledge of After Effects and/or Premiere Pro.
• A solid understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies such as ADDIE, SAM and Bloom's Taxonomy.
• Experience publishing SCORM and/or xAPI packages and deploying content to a Learning Management System.
• A strong portfolio showing both visual design work and interactive eLearning projects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to write clear, concise learning content and scripts.
• The ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and collaborate across design, development and client teams.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accessibility and inclusive design.
• Valid work rights in Australia.

Nice to Have

• Experience with other Articulate 360 tools such as Rise 360 and Review 360, or with other authoring tools such as Adobe Captivate or iSpring.
• Familiarity with UX/UI design tools such as Figma or Adobe XD, and an interest in applying user-centred design to learning experiences.
• Experience creating training for software products, SaaS platforms or digital transformation initiatives.
• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS or JavaScript to extend Storyline functionality.
• Experience with voice-over production, audio editing or video scripting.
• Exposure to AI-assisted content creation tools and an interest in how AI can improve learning design.
• A qualification in graphic design, instructional design, education, multimedia or a related field.
• Agency or consultancy experience working across multiple clients and industries.

• A salary of AUD 3,000 - 3,500 per month, plus superannuation in line with Australian requirements.
