Start an application¶
Every Risenoow application opens on a short details screen. You enter your name and email address, add your CV, agree to the terms and select Start application. It takes a minute or two, and it lets the hiring team connect every answer you give to you.

Who can use it: Anyone. Signing in first fills in your details for you.
Time needed: One or two minutes
What the screen shows¶
On the left you see the employer's welcome message, the Role you are applying for, and three numbers: how many Questions and Fields the role has, and the Minutes to allow. The minutes come from the role itself: the number in the welcome message when it names one, otherwise an estimate from the role's questions and voice interview.
Along the top, a row of stages shows where you are. Your details comes first. You may then see Role requirements, a Short interview marked Required or Optional, and Role questions as the final step. Not every role has every stage.
How to start your application¶
- Type your Full name.
- Type your Email address. This is where the hiring team's reply and your confirmation are sent, so check it carefully.
- Under Resume / CV, select Choose your resume and pick your file. The box shows Uploading resume and then your file name.
- Complete the security check if one is shown.
- Tick the box that starts I agree to the Terms & Consent and Privacy Policy.
- Select Start application.
Fields marked * are required. If anything is missing, the screen says what and moves you to it. For example, "Please upload your resume." or "Please agree to the terms before you start."

If you are signed in to your candidate account and have saved CVs, a list called Use a CV you've saved appears above the upload box. Pick one, or choose Upload a different one to add a new file. See CV manager.
Good to know
Your CV is read alongside your answers, and the follow up questions at the end can draw on it. A current CV that matches what you say in the interview gives the hiring team the clearest picture.
The consent and the security check¶
The consent box covers your responses, including any voice recording, being processed for this application. Select Terms & Consent or Privacy Policy to read them before you agree.
The security check confirms a real person is applying. It protects employers from automated applications. If it fails several times, you see "We could not complete the security check. Reload the page, or try another browser or network."
If you are signed in¶
When you start an application while signed in to your candidate account, your name, email address and default CV are filled in for you. You can still change anything before you start. A cover letter is never filled in for you.
If you have already applied¶
Risenoow checks your email address when you select Start application. If you already applied for this role, you see You have already applied before you spend any time on questions:
- If your application is still open, the message says the hiring team has it and will be in touch.
- If your earlier application was not successful, the message says how many days remain before you may apply again.

If the page reloads or closes
Your name, email address, written answers and any cover letter are kept in this browser for 14 days while you apply. Open the same link again and the screen says "Welcome back. Your answers so far were kept on this device." Your CV is not kept, so choose it again. Everything kept is cleared once you submit.
Frequently asked questions¶
What file types can I upload as my CV on Risenoow?¶
PDF, DOC or DOCX, up to 5 MB. An empty file, a larger file or another file type is refused with a message saying why.
Why can't I select Start application?¶
The button always responds. If something is missing, a message appears under the field that needs attention, such as your name, email, CV, the consent box or the security check.
Do I need a LinkedIn profile or a cover letter?¶
No. Risenoow asks every applicant for a name, an email address and a CV, and nothing else on this screen.
Can I apply for the same role twice?¶
Not while your first application is open. If it was not successful, you can apply again after 90 days.
