Summary and next conversation¶
The Summary card on a Risenoow candidate record gives you the voice interview reading in three or four sentences, written to be read on its own. Beside it, Ask in the next conversation lists the questions the AI suggests a person should ask next, one per interview dimension, so you walk into a call or panel with a plan.
Where: Candidate record, Overview tab, under the two charts
Who can use it: Admins, and recruiters for the roles they created
Time needed: One minute
The Summary card¶
The summary is the overall view from the voice interview reading. It is written plainly, as one colleague briefing another: what the interview showed, how it squares with the written application, and the thing most worth testing next. In the example, the summary ends with what to test at the panel.
The AI is told to write nothing it could not point to a quote for, so every claim in the summary should be backed somewhere in Dimension by dimension and the claim checks.
Full written report at the top right opens the Written report tab, which holds the longer assessment with strengths, gaps, category scores and a recommendation. It appears only when the written report exists.
Summary and written report are two readings
The summary comes from the interview reading. The written report reads the interview together with the written answers, the follow up answers and the CV. They usually agree; when they do not, read both.
The Ask in the next conversation card¶
For each of the five interview dimensions, the reading can suggest one question a human interviewer should ask next. This card gathers them into one numbered list, so you do not have to open five panels to collect them. Each item shows:
- the dimension it belongs to, in small capitals, such as Role knowledge or Composure when pushed,
- the suggested question or instruction, such as "Ask for a decision they still think was wrong."
A dimension that left no question is skipped, so the list can be shorter than five. In the example, three dimensions left a question.
The same questions appear one at a time as Ask next under each dimension in Dimension by dimension, next to the evidence that prompted them.
How to use the questions¶
- Read the Summary to get the overall picture.
- Read each question on Ask in the next conversation and note the dimension above it.
- If a question surprises you, open that dimension in Dimension by dimension to see the quote and notes behind it.
- Copy the questions you want into Notes for your team so the next interviewer has them, then select Save changes.
- Take them into your phone screen, panel or technical interview.
They can travel into the technical interview
When you invite a candidate to a technical interview, you can choose to add follow ups drawn from the first interview. Those come from these same questions, plus any claim the first interview left unclear. Questions about things a candidate cannot change, such as visas or age, are left out. See Invite to a technical interview.
When these cards do not appear¶
Both cards come from the voice interview reading. They do not appear when:
- the candidate did not complete the voice interview,
- the interview was too short to read (under 60 words from the candidate),
- the role has no voice interview.
In that case the Overview tab shows the full written report in their place, when there is one.
Frequently asked questions¶
Who writes the summary and the questions?¶
The AI writes both from the transcript of the voice interview, reading only what the candidate said. The interviewer's own questions are not treated as evidence about the candidate.
Are these questions sent to the candidate?¶
No. They are suggestions for your team. They only reach the candidate if you choose to include follow ups when you send a technical interview invitation.
Can I edit the summary or the questions?¶
No. They are a record of one reading, kept as it was made. Add your own view and your own questions in Notes for your team.
Why are there only two or three questions?¶
Only dimensions where the reading suggested a question are listed. Others gave no clear thread to follow.
