Step 1: Role facts

Role facts is the first step of Post a role in Risenoow. You tell it what the job is, where it is, how it is employed and what it pays. These answers build the public job card and the job board filters, and the AI treats them as fixed facts for the description and every question it writes.

Where: Post a role, step 1, card Tell us about the role

Who can use it: Workspace admins and recruiters

Time needed: About two minutes

The Risenoow Post a role step 1 Role facts form, with sections The role, Where, Employment and Pay filled in for a Registered Nurse in Sydney
The role facts form in the example workspace. Fields marked with a red star are required.

The role

Field Required What it does
Job title Yes The title on the job card and the role. Up to 200 characters. The title you type here is always the one the role keeps, even if the AI words the description heading differently.
Classification Yes The field of work, chosen from a list such as Engineering, Healthcare, Sales or Other. Candidates filter the job board by it. The AI uses it to set the discipline only.
Seniority No Entry level, Associate, Mid level, Senior, Director, Executive or Internship. It shapes the experience the AI asks for, and success targets get 90 days instead of 60 for Senior, Director and Executive roles.

Where

Field Required What it does
Work arrangement Yes On site, Hybrid or Remote. Shown on the job card and used as a job board filter.
Country Yes Starts on Australia. Changing it clears the city and sets the currency to that country's own. Any work rights question refers to this country only.
City Yes, unless remote Start typing and choose from the suggestions. Not needed for a Remote role. The job card shows the city with its state or region, with "Hybrid" or "Remote" in front when that applies.

Employment

Field Required What it does
Employment type Yes Internship, Contract, Temporary, Casual, Part-time or Full-time. A job board filter.
Contract length No Appears only for Contract and Temporary. Free text, for example "6 months".
Work rights No See "How work rights are used" below. Candidates can filter on it.
Openings No How many people you are hiring, from 1 to 999. Starts at 1.
Closing date No After this date the role leaves the public job board and its application link stops taking applications. It cannot be in the past. Leave it empty for no closing date.
Send candidate reports to No Where each candidate's report is emailed. Separate several addresses with commas, up to ten. Any address that is not valid is named so you can fix it.
Internal reference No Your own code for the role, up to 80 characters.

Pay

Pay is optional. The pay you enter is shown on the job card and used in the job description. Leave it empty and no pay is shown anywhere.

Field What it does
Pay type Base salary or Total package. The description states which one it is.
Currency Three letters, filled in from the country. You can change it.
From and To The range. Type it the way you usually write it: 90000, 90k, $90,000 and 90 000 all read as ninety thousand. If you enter them the wrong way round, they are swapped for you. One end on its own is fine.
Per Year, Month, Week, Day or Hour.

Pay that cannot be read

A figure that is not plainly one number, such as "90.000" or "about 90", is refused. The box keeps what you typed and shows a message such as "Check the minimum pay: enter a number, such as 90000 or 90k."

How work rights are used

The Work rights choice decides whether candidates are asked about their right to work.

Choice What candidates are asked
Not specified Nothing about work rights, visas or citizenship, at any stage.
Any valid work rights One requirement question on the written form, about holding work rights for the country you chose.
Citizens and permanent residents only One requirement question on the written form, as above.
Visa sponsorship available Nothing. This widens who can apply rather than narrowing it.
Student visa holders welcome Nothing, for the same reason.

The voice and technical interviews never ask about work rights.

What the AI is told

Title, classification, seniority, employment type, work arrangement, city, region, country, contract length, work rights and pay go to the AI as facts it must not contradict or replace. Pay is quoted only in your currency and period, never converted.

Openings, Closing date, Send candidate reports to and Internal reference are not sent to the AI.

Finish the step

  1. Fill in every field with a red star.
  2. Add pay and work rights if you want them on the job card.
  3. Select Next: job description.

If anything is missing, the field shows a message such as "Add a city, or set the role to remote." Cancel returns you to Job openings.
