Frequently asked questions¶
For employers
What is Risenoow?¶
Risenoow is a hiring platform. You post a role, the AI writes the job description and screening questions, every applicant answers them and an AI voice interview, and your team reads a scored report. See How Risenoow works.
Does the AI decide who gets hired?¶
No. The AI screens, organises and scores with evidence, and a person makes every decision. Stages such as Shortlisted and Declined are set by your team. See Application stages.
What does the match score mean?¶
It is the overall score out of 100 from the written report, which weighs the answers, the interview and the CV together. 80 or more reads as Strong. See Scores explained.
What is CV fit?¶
CV fit scores the CV alone against the role's description, out of 100. Use it to decide whom to open first, not to decide. See Scores explained.
When is a candidate's report ready?¶
The application moves from New to AI reviewed on its own once the report and score are written. Until then the score shows as Scoring. See The candidate record.
Can a role run without the voice interview?¶
Yes. Set the Voice interview switch on the role to Off: written questions only. See Step 2: Job description.
Which languages can the interview be in?¶
The voice interview can be spoken in 7 languages, and the job description and written questions can be in 23. You set them separately on each role. See Languages.
What are requirement questions?¶
Questions where you mark which answers meet your bar. A missed requirement can Flag for review or Auto decline, and requirement questions come before the interview. See Requirement questions.
Do candidates find out they missed a requirement while applying?¶
No. Nothing is revealed while they apply. An automatically declined candidate is told by email after they submit. See Requirement questions.
Which stage changes email the candidate?¶
Moving a candidate to In review, Shortlisted or Declined sends an email, only when the stage changes. New and AI reviewed never do. See Application stages.
Can I undo a decline?¶
Yes. Choose another stage under Stage and notes on the candidate record and save. See Stage and notes.
What is a technical interview?¶
A second stage AI interview, often with the camera on, that you invite a candidate to from their record. The role has its own technical questions, and you can adjust them for one candidate. See Invite to a technical interview.
Does a technical interview use our interview allowance?¶
Yes. If your plan has no interviews left this month, the invitation is not sent. See Plan usage.
How long are interview recordings kept?¶
Technical interview recordings are kept for 7 to 365 days, as set in Settings, then deleted. The default is 90 days. See Recording retention.
Who on my team can see candidates?¶
Admins see every role. Recruiters see the roles they create and those candidates. See Permissions.
Can I share a candidate's report with someone who has no account?¶
Yes. Select Download PDF on the candidate record and share the file. See PDF and export.
Can I export my candidate list?¶
Yes. Select Export CSV on the Candidates page. The export follows the filters you have chosen. See PDF and export.
How much does Risenoow cost?¶
See the current plans on the pricing page. Your own plan and usage are under Billing. See Billing and plan.
How do I close my workspace?¶
An admin can use Delete workspace at the bottom of Settings. Everything in the workspace is deleted at once. See Delete a workspace.
For candidates
Do I need an account to apply?¶
No. You apply with your name, email address and CV. Risenoow may then set up a portal account for your email so you can track the application, and the confirmation email explains how. See Start an application.
Is applying free?¶
Yes, applying to a role costs you nothing. See Plan and billing for what the portal plans add.
What happens in the voice interview?¶
An AI interviewer asks the role's questions out loud and follows up on your answers. A short sound check comes first. See The voice interview.
Can I skip the voice interview?¶
Only when the employer made it optional. Then Continue without voice is offered. See The voice interview.
Will my accent or nerves count against me?¶
No. The interview is read from the transcript, and accent, grammar, filler words and tone are never judged. See Scores explained.
Can I try an interview before I apply?¶
Yes. Choose Try a sample interview in the footer of the Risenoow website. See The voice interview.
What do I need for the interview?¶
A current browser, a working microphone and a quiet place. Some technical interviews also need a camera. See Browsers and devices.
How do I know where my application stands?¶
You are emailed when your application is received and when it moves to under review, shortlisted or not selected. With a portal account, Applied jobs shows each application's status. See After you apply.
Can I see my score?¶
Yes. In the portal, Applied jobs shows the score for each application once it is ready. See Applied jobs.
Is my resume review score what employers see?¶
No. Resume review scores your CV alone against a job you choose. The employer's score also counts your answers and interview. See Resume review.
Can I apply again after being declined?¶
Yes, for the same role once 90 days have passed. You can apply to other roles at any time. See After you apply.
Can I move my technical interview time?¶
A booked time can be moved once. After that, reply to the employer. See Technical interview invitation.
What if I missed my technical interview deadline?¶
The link stops working when the date passes. Reply to the employer, who can send a new one. See Troubleshooting.
Is my technical interview recorded?¶
Yes, and you agree first. The statement tells you whether the camera is on, who sees the recording and how many days it is kept. See Privacy, data and recordings.
How do I delete my account?¶
Open My profile in the portal and choose Delete my account. Applications you sent stay with the employers who received them. See Delete your account.
